A Little Miracle

A few mornings ago I walked down to my spot on the edge of the ocean. The path is covered with grass and wild-flowers and it is nestled between some trees. I looked over the edge of the rocky cliff at the rising sun sparkling on the water at high tide. I began my prayer time with Creator, first giving thanks for all that is good in my life. I then asked for guidance and listened for an answer. I heard Him say “ask for blessings from the east, the west, the north and the south”. And so I did. Then I heard “ask for blessings from moon, the sun and the stars”. And so I did. I asked for blessings from the ocean, the lakes and rivers, the sky, and the earth beneath my feet. Then he said “ask for blessings from the eagle and the cormorant”. And so I did. I looked up just in case there was an eagle but there was none. I finished my prayer time and decided to walk to the beach. When I arrived, I saw a bald eagle flying over the beach! I believe it was a sign from Creator. I had never seen an eagle on that beach before, in all my dozens of times walking there. I gave thanks for the blessing of the eagle.
